Janice is a highly qualified and experienced Optometrist. She graduated top of her Optometry class in 2007, achieving first-class honours from the University of Auckland. In 2018, she went on to complete her research thesis for a Masters’ degree, also achieving first-class honours.

She has worked in optometric practice in Australia and New Zealand, and as a Professional Teaching Fellow at the School of Optometry, University of Auckland. She has joined the New Zealand Prosthetic Eye Service as an Ocular Prosthetist and enjoys the crossover between optometry and ocular prosthetics. She brings enthusiasm, caring, research skills and knowledge to this field.
